MOM'S MUSINGS - VIII
I ran across this
saying by Gilda Radner and wanted to put it up.
August 14, 2007
I wanted a perfect
ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems
don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear
beginning, middle, and end.
Life is about not
knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making
the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen
next, Delicious ambiguity.
Gilda Radner
She died far too young,
too. Jamie, it’s almost Christmas. So hard to believe we
have made it through almost four years without you. I was
thinking about the lessons we’ve learned since you left
us.
1.
Don’t take anything or anyone for granted. You
don’t know how long you will have them.
2.
Go out of your way to love with all of your heart,
even if the person doesn’t seem that loveable to you right
then.
3.
Thank God for everything that does go right.
4.
Don’t look at the negatives. There is always
something positive if you look hard enough.
5.
Times goes by faster than you can imagine.
6.
Family means everything.
7.
God is in control, even when it seems He is not.
8.
All things happen at the proper time.
9.
Love is what really matters.
10.
Evil can be overcome by good just as darkness has
to flee from light. Darkness can never extinguish the
light.
We love you, JayBird.
